Christophe Beth, a construction commissioner of the European Union (EU) delegation to Korea,

and 20 science and technology and trade diplomats from European embassies in 16 countries visit the Approtium for a commemorative photo.

As part of establishing cooperative measures to reduce carbon emissions and expand clean energy supply, Approtium (formerly Deokyang) said that 20 European Embassy science and technology and trade diplomats from 16 countries visited the Ulsan industrial site from the 21st to the 22nd.

They reside at European embassies in Korea and serve as a bridge between Korea and Europe in terms of clean energy. During the inspection, he visited Approtium, the nation's largest hydrogen manufacturer, to enhance his understanding of the hydrogen production process and domestic hydrogen demand, including hydrogen for power generation, and discuss the possibility of future technology exchanges.

Approtium is a company based in Ulsan and Seosan and has been supplying hydrogen to domestic companies for about 60 years. It currently supplies more than 40% of industrial hydrogen distributed in Korea, and plans to supply blue hydrogen by utilizing carbon capture utilization & storage facilities and decomposing clean ammonia imported from abroad.

Through the visit, the two sides said they are expected to revitalize technology development and applications to expand the production and supply of clean energy in Korea and Europe.
