Approtium, Hyphen Corp. and Green Ammonia Supply MOU signed with energy companies in Namibia, Africa
It will be supplied with 250,000 tons starting in 2027

Approtium (formerly Deokyang), South Korea's largest hydrogen manufacturer, announced on February 1st that it has signed an MOU with Hyphen,

a Namibia clean energy producer, to supply green ammonia. Through this MOU, Approtium plans to receive 250,000 tons of green ammonia per year from

Hyphen from 2027.

Approtium is a Ulsan-based hydrogen production and supply company that was acquired by a fund operated by Macquarie Asset Management

in December 2021 and took a new leap forward as a global company.

Hyphen is a Namibia-based clean energy producer owned by Nicholas Holdings of the UK and Enertrag of Germany.

Under this agreement, Approtium plans to supply separated hydrogen to LNG power plants by using a clean energy supply base in Korea

with the import of green ammonia, mixing ammonia directly into coal power plants, or cracking ammonia.
