According to this agreement, Aprotium will supply hydrogen, but convert gray hydrogen into clean hydrogen in the long term, and Hynet will secure hydrogen charging stations as much as possible. CJ Logistics is in charge of transportation. The three companies decided to make joint efforts to expand hydrogen supply infrastructure through the smooth operation of hydrogen filling stations nationwide.
CJ Logistics will load gaseous hydrogen from Aprotium's hydrogen production facilities in Ulsan and Daesan, Chungcheongnam-do from July and transport it to charging stations in the Yeongnam and central regions. To this end, we plan to sequentially introduce and expand tube trailers exclusively for gaseous hydrogen. Hynet takes on the role of expanding and supporting charging stations.
It is known that gaseous hydrogen for hydrogen vehicles currently in use has been inconvenient for consumers due to a lack of charging stations and distribution. Based on this agreement, CJ Logistics expects that hydrogen vehicle charging stations will be expanded and gaseous hydrogen production and distribution will increase.
“With this agreement, we will increase the number of hydrogen filling stations in the future and enable consumers to conveniently use hydrogen vehicles,” said Choi Gap-joo, head of CJ Logistics P&D Headquarters.
